I started out by using the colours from a previous project and creating shapes with the colours. I wanted to see what different effects I could get as all of the colour are vibrant and contrast with one and another it makes a groovy pattern when I tried a more wavy pattern.

Another experiment I tried was using a different colour scheme from a previous design and to see what I could achieve with that. Unfortunately I do not think it is one of my strongest designs so I will not be developing it further however I do think it would be good to see what its like mocked up on a cushion or tote bag.

These three designs are my strongest experiments. Again I used colours from a previous design which I think works extremely well. As i've just got illustrator on my laptop I wanted to try see what new shapes and gradients I could create and if it would be beneficial to develop them further and mock them onto cushions or tote bags.

Here are the designs mocked up onto the cushions and tote bags. I am very pleased with how they have turned out and think mocking them up has let me get a better idea of how it will look. I need to have a meeting with my colleagues so we can discuss which design to take further.
