Joe Elam:

This is an designer I found on Behance who I thought stood out from the rest. I like the use of the vectored stag as I think it signifies independence and leadership, the fact that is it on a white background also makes it have an impact on the business card and keeps it clean and simple. This is  definitely something I want to take into account for my own business card as in the PPP session I discussed the use of animals to represent me as a person and take a more humours approach.

Amanda Mohlin:

Another designer that caught my eye on Behance. As I am thinking of incorporating some type of pattern into my business card I think this is a strong example of how to do it right. Also the use of hand rendered type that is used I absolutely love, its so personal and works well with the space on the business card without looking sloppy and cramped. I would definitely like to receive this business card myself as the pattern on the back too is really athsetically pleasing.

Amy Slatem:

Another design that I picked from Behance. I guess what really stood out for me was the use of colour and the hand rendered type, as I'm developing more as a designer I'm becoming more fond of hand rendered type and illustrations. The bright colours and simple vector designs I think work extremely well and make it more interesting. It if influencing me to do some illustrations in my work, well I can always experiment and see whether it would be successful or not.
